I've tried all kinds of strategies, the only one I have any kind of success with is a doctrine with call in units, which are vastly superior to your normal units, to the point where they aren't worth it. The game really forces you to buy the premium commanders and play in a certain way. Why isn't it satisfying? Constant squad wipes, the faster pace would be more fun if it wasn't so punishing. I've uninstalled it twice, given it a second chance twice. The game just isn't satisfying anymore for rookie players like myself. To me, it really comes down to a few simple facts about the direction they took the game play, and in my mind, this really gets at why COH2 is dead compared to how COH1 used to be.
